11 Months

It turns out that I don't have many non-blurry pictures of Kai right now - he's trying to figure out how to run now that he's got the hang of walking... Okay, not quite, but he's always moving, and he really is getting pretty fast! Too fast for me (he fell down the stairs 3 times last night while I was trying to wrangle his brothers for teeth brushing).
How's he doing this month? Grumpy. Very grumpy. I'm not sure if it's teething or still getting used to sleep training or what, but he wants to be held constantly and still screams. And nobody will do but Mommy. I'm trying to enjoy it though, since I know the Daddy phase is coming.
We're making slow progress on sleep training. Some nights, he's down to two wakings, some nights it's upwards of six. Luckily, his naps are getting more consistent, so I feel more hopeful!
He loves Isaac, anything chocolate, trucks, trains, Elmo, and Mylar balloons. He's starting to accept Jonathan as a substitute for Isaac, which is actually thrilling to Jon!
Even grumpy, he's pretty cute. We'll keep him!

Happy Birthday Jon!

Jon's request for his birthday (when I asked months ago) was to see his cousins. Incredibly, the stars aligned, and their annual trip happened to land on the right date!
We had a "stealth elf" cake, and he loved his Legos and plush Skylanders. He got to sleep out in the tent and go to Cow Appreciation Day at chick-fil-a. Pretty sure that was one happy 4 year old.
Jon can talk your ear off, loves building things, and has a knack for taking things apart. He loves his daddy best. (His daddy is pretty awesome.) Jonathan keeps telling me that his "real" name is Jon, and that his nickname is Jonathan. We're okay with indulging his preference.
We love our Jon!

In the last three weeks...

My brother came to visit and job hunt.
Mark started his new job.
We took a whirlwind trip to Salt Lake for my grandpa's 90th birthday party.
The Allreds found a house and moved out.
My brother moved in.
Mark's brother and his family came to visit.
We started sleep training with Kai.

It's been insanely busy, but absolutely awesome! I'll post some pictures once I've caught my breath and gotten a little sleep.
