7 Months

Not sure how it can possibly have been another month already, but the calendar assures me it has. Amazingly, we have all survived this month - which is saying something for Kai especially. He now crawls, pulls up to standing (then lets go with one hand just fine), and has 5 teeth in, with another 3 visible (I give them 3 more days or so). He's starting to respond to the sleep training, which has been a relief for all of us. New favorite food: cheese (but only cheddar).

I promise, I'll get around to updating about the other boys soon!

Our latest challenge

As soon as he learned to crawl, Kai decided that wasn't good enough... He pulls up on EVERYTHING (including his brothers), but this week he started doing this too:

Not gonna lie...

It's been a rough week. We've been to the pediatrician 3 times (all this week), Mark and I have both caught whatever the boys have had, the washing machine motor burned out, Kai still isn't sleeping well, and Mark's job just upped what they're wanting from him.
Because it's been rough, I'm not even bothering to include captions here. These are the best pictures from this week:

Writing

Jon and Isaac have been practicing writing and covering our house in random pictures. Jon wrote his and Isaac's names this week with no help, and I thought he did a pretty good job!

Valentines are still big around here. (In case you can't read it: Jon, I love you because you let me play. Isaac)

When the weather was nice, we went for a walk. Isaac would run to a corner, run back to us, run to the corner again, and run back to us over and over until we finally caught up. Jon made a valiant effort, but he's just not as fast yet.

Isaac has been making "movie posters" - my favorite is for "Doedy and the Adventures of Badness" - in 3D. Apparently, the rain forest is in my basement too... The only problem with all of these posters is that they keep taping them up on any wall they can reach, so we're running low on scotch tape now.
